I took a trip back up to Boston this past weekend to watch my Patriots play in the conference championship (I watched from the semi-warm living room of Beau and Jess — didn’t actually attend the game). It was kind of a boring game but the Patriots showed that they could play like utter crap, run the ball like crazy and still end up with a nine point spread. Go Pats! It was great seeing everyone/hanging out and the food was delicious as always. I can’t wait to make it back up there.
BRADY - MOSS in 08!
The new year is starting off decent enough. We bought Rock Band for Christmas so we’ve been playing a lot and preparing for our trip to Memphis in March to meet up with some friends and rock (band) out. I’m a natural singer where Mandy can’t hit a note to save her life**. The kiddos are doing well. They’re being total brats but doing well none the less.

Car Show
December 3, 2007 by Don @ 2:28 am
We took the kids to their first car show a few weeks back. They seemed to really enjoy it though there were many tears shed …mostly by Aiden. They both ran from car to car fighting over who would get to sit in it first. There was also the constant “I’m hungry!”, “I’m thirsty!” — these kids LOVE to complain. The car show as a whole was a bit lacking and there were very few concept cars on the floor. We did, however, see some really cool cars. The kids were both partial to the sportier cars with me getting to sit inside my first Z06 and feeling my body melt into the seat. Man, I want that car. Mandy fell in love with the Volvo C30. I’m guessing that will probably be our next car purchase — though not anytime real soon.
There are a couple of pictures up from the car show in our photo album so enjoy and I’ll write more as the holidays come crashing upon us.
I changed the site again this week with hopes that I might update it more often if it’s easier to manipulate. The last revision was more of a learning experience for me. While the site was kinda cool and different from what I’ve done in the past, it wasn’t easy to update. This never version is so easy that it screams UPDATE ME!!! Anyway, there should be some new pics up for everyone to see. Some from our trip to St Louis this past September, some from Halloween and some from the air show we attended yesterday. Enjoy!
ps - new site is not completey done yet. For one, I’m still importing the old blogs and probably will be for the next two years. ugh.
Aiden is almost as tall as Dresden, even though they have 3 years between them. People always ask me if they are twins.
Aiden is doing really well. He is a ball of energy and very talkative. Aiden loves to talk to everyone, including strangers. He is always smiling and playing with Dresden. He likes to talk about planets, maps, and whatever game he is playing with Dresden.
Sometimes we have a problem with him doing what we ask him to do, though. He’ll pretend like he doesn’t hear us, and then just do his own thing. We’re trying to fix that. For the most part, though, he’s a good boy. And he’s very funny.
Aiden is very, very excited about finally starting school soon!
Hi, I know I’ve gotten very, very lazy in updating this section. As most of you know, we moved from New England (BOO!) to Texas. Dresden actually was enrolled in FOUR different first grade classes during this move. It was probably harder on me than it was on him. He just saw it as a way to meet more friends. He did very well in first grade.
Dresden is very curious about things like math concepts, spelling, geography, and astronomy. It’s summer right now, so he’s in baseball and enjoys that a lot. I’m hoping to get him into martial arts either in the fall or the winter of this year. I’m trying to teach him some basic things this summer like how to dust, clean the cat hair off the couch, how to make his bed, and how to clean his bathroom. All in all, he likes Texas and is doing really well!
